The chest is the region of the body located between the neck and the abdominals.  This anatomical region helps protect some of the major internal organs of the body, such as the heart and lungs.  The chest is supported and protected by the ribcage, spine, and shoulder, which all work in conjunction to help this region of the body function properly.  It is important to have an adequate understanding of the chest and its different components in order to better understand any complications or injuries that may occur in this area.
